7 Months and you'd think this would be longer [that's what she said :(]

So it's been a few moons since I posted anything. In fact I guess this would be my first actual post, since my first (unactual?) post was just an introduction. I've had many good ideas and many ghost posts that never took form, with titles such as "Oreo Cakesters: God's Gift to the Cookie Isle", "Nilla Cakesters: Satan's Counterstrike", and "Minivans: Omens of Untimely Deaths". However, a road isn't paved with good intentions. It's paved after seven months of doing nothing after you've put up "Road Work Ahead" signs. Begin

Soooooo a little bit about me, the author. Chances are you wont see me ever writing this blog in a cafe or Starbucks, or on a bus. Mostly because I drive a car, I don't like Starbucks, and the word "cafe" has stepped into McDonald's creepy white van and has never been the same since. There's a good chance I'm just doing this during downtime at work or if I really can't think of any other way to spend my time at home. Every now and then something triggers my brain to run around with a random topic like a tiger with his tail on fire and in some cases I think the tiger is so entertaining that I "youtube" it in the form of writing.

I really don't have any intention of sharing deep, brooding thoughts or feelings on this blog so no worries here, this is an emotional safe zone. Besides, I rarely express myself that way to begin with. I can't stand dramatic emotional outbursts or actions, they make me want to go all Zidane (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYN54NZqlcw). I believe it's one thing to open up to a family member or close friend, but an entirely separate thing to give the audience a show.

So trust me, if I ever get upset that Cindy Lou in my art class gets better grades than me because she's got the goods, I wont cry about it here on this blog. I'll just post something like... "Cindy Lou the Juggaboo: Hardened Veteran in the Losing War Against Gravity". I'll laugh, you'll laugh, and Cindy can go to hell.
